Cooperative Oncology Services
United Family New Hope Oncology Center (New Hope) and Peking University (PUCH) Cancer Hospital signed an agreement to jointly provide premium, world-class oncology services for the Beijing market. Through this new arrangement, New Hope and PUCH’s International Department will join resources to develop personalized oncology services for Beijing residents, representing the first time a Chinese authority in oncology treatment will join together with a premium, foreign-invested healthcare provider. The agreement further states both organizations’ commitment to high-level joint clinical treatments, academic exchanges, professional healthcare management and quality accreditation.
New Hope is the leader in premium outpatient oncology treatment in China. The medical staff encourages patients to maintain their normal, everyday activities while undergoing cancer treatment, to maintain a high quality of life. They not only treat the patient’s disease, but care for the entire patient by providing comprehensive services. In addition to surgery and chemotherapy, New Hope offers psychological counseling, physical therapy, TCM, pain management, nutrition counseling, support groups and patient education. New Hope is dedicated to providing advanced, international-standard cancer treatment and individualized care according to each patient’s specific needs.

From its opening in January 2011, New Hope and PUCH have worked informally together to provide the best in patient care. They have collaborated on patient care and have worked to explore the newest trends in cancer treatment, facility design, medical services and healthcare management. This new agreement formalizes the relationship between New Hope and PUCH. According to the agreement, New Hope will also provide evidence-based, international-standard cancer treatment to the patients of PUCH’s International Department. In return, PUCH will allow New Hope patients a green channel to access high-level care quickly at PUCH. In addition, the cooperation will focus on clinical treatment, team building, academic exchange, healthcare management, quality and safety accreditation, and models of primary and nursing care.
Sylvia Pan, general manager of Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics (BJU), attended the signing ceremony. Ms. Pan said, “This is truly a milestone for New Hope. It is not only an endorsement from a level-three public hospital, it also represents BJU moving toward even higher levels of medical services and excellence. In the past two years, BJU has established the New Hope Oncology Center, the Heart Center, Neurosurgery and other services that require advanced talent and equipment.
