Recommended for:
- People with a high-risk of breast cancer and the general population aged over 40.
- High-risk population includes those people: suffering from long term hyperplasia of the mammary glands, with a family history of breast cancer, experienced their first menstrual period before 13 years of age or a late menopause, as well as those who are unmarried without children, or married with infertility, or have undergone several abortions.
Frequency of Breast Cancer Screening
- People with a high-risk of breast cancer should have a regular screening every 6 months.
- People aged over 40 should undergo a regular annual screening.
